The WSC Port Department is responsible for Port Facilities and Grounds. We maintain the WSC marina in a safe ship-shape fashion. Oversee the work hour program. Maintain the clubhouse, grounds, docks and all shore facilities. We also facilitate the Oregon Marine Board’s Green Marina Program.

Work Hours
Check the work
hours list to see what you have done so far. (Here it
is in Excel
format.) Always check with me
or the assistant port captain, Everett
Hobson, before doing your work in order to avoid
working at cross purposes with other member's projects. Make sure you
fill out a work hours form, on the counter in the clubhouse, and
leave it in the work hours folder or the port captain's box.
Whether you come to a work party or arrange to do work ours
on your own time, each regular member is required to do 10 work hours
per year. See WSC
Bylaws, Art. VI, Sec. E. Two of your work hours can be
race committee duty, one hour being crediting for each assignment of
race committee duty. Contact the fleet
captain regarding your race committee assignment, and
check the race
committee assignment page. Each senior member is
required to do 5 work hours per year. WSC

The work hours
year begins October 1 and ends September 30. Half of your work hours
obligation for the year must be completed by June 30, the other half
by October 1. WSC

College and High School members may prorate their work hours.
