Fall Schedule

We’ve made some changes to the fall schedule. Please update your calendars as follows:

  • Kyle will lead a special team race tune-up session Sept. 6, 8, 10, 13, and 15, followed by a trip to Orcas Island September 17 for the Orcas Open Team Race Regatta.

  • New sailors training is scheduled for Sept. 13, 15, 20, 22, and 24. This session will cover the basic sailing skills needed to prepare new sailors for the program. It is required for all sailors new to the WSC High School Sailing Program (additional fee: $100).

  • Regular practice starts Monday, Sept. 27. The fall practice schedule will be 420s on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6:30 pm (moves to 6 pm on Nov. 1) and Lasers on Sundays from 10:30 am-12:30 pm.

  • The Fall Parent Meeting will take place Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 pm in the clubhouse.

Registration will open in August but if you would like to secure a spot before then please let us know. If you've any questions, please contact Elaine at eof@aracnet.com.

Bring us your old stuff

Before you stow your gear for the summer, do you have anything that you've grown out of, haven't used or are replacing? If so, can you please bring those items to WSC and deposit them in the grey plastic box marked "High School Sailing" under the High School Sailing bulletin board. This will help new sailors defray the cost of getting started and keep our box of backup gear stocked. Thanks!

P.S. As always, if you do borrow gear from the box, please return it to the box clean. We are missing quite a few towels . . .
