Bill Symes

Bill Symes is an internationally-ranked competitor in the Laser class with more than 45 years experience racing sailboats and teaching sailing. He was a member of Newport Harbor (CA) Yacht Club’s North American Junior Sailing Championship (Sears Cup) team in 1963, USC’s collegiate sailing national championship team in 1967, and is a former national champion in several one-design classes. Bill holds a US Sailing Level 2 coaching certification and has been coaching at the high school and college level since 2005.

Kyle Eaton

Kyle is an alumni of the Friday Harbor (WA) high school sailing team and was responsible for reviving the sailing program at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. An avid dinghy and skiff sailor, Kyle is Conference Commissioner for the Northwest Intercollegiate Sailing Association and also serves on the board of directors of The Sailing Foundation.
