Team Racing 2010
Willamette Sailing Club
This summer WSC will be hosting a series of team racing events in the club’s 420s. The series starts with a clinic, followed by 3-4 Tuesday evenings of racing, then ends in October with a Team race regatta including Portland area clubs.
Tuesday evenings will be organized as follows:
Teams will be formed during each Tuesday event in a “pick-up” style by “coaches” to get a good mix of skills
Anyone with team racing knowledge is welcome to volunteer to be one of the “coaches” which will help run the events, and select teams.
Volunteers will provide a quick chalk-talk prior to each Tuesday
A fee will be charged to cover use of the club boats ($30 members and $45 non-members confirm with WSC).

Important Dates
- May 22 - Free Team Racing Clinic and Party – chalk talk, led by coaches at 3pm, food to follow, bugers 5$ or bring your own.
- June 29th, July 27th, Aug. 3rd and 31st Tuesday night racing.
- 5pm to 6pm boats available for practice
- 6pm skippers meeting, short chalk talk, and team formation
- 6:30 – 8pm racing
- 8:15pm – 8:45 recap, lead by team coaches
- October 16 The big day! Fall Team Race Champs, Portland area club event (all Portland area clubs welcome.)
