Adult Sailing Classes
|
No experience is necessary to take Adult Beginning Sailing. You will learn how to rig and sail a two-person, 15' Sailboat. Ultimately you will be able to sail the boat away from the dock, to a selected location on the river, and return to the dock. This class concentrates on teaching the basics of sailing, while spending as much time as possible on the water. In addition, Adult Advanced Sailing on Friday Night is available for those who have taken at least one WSS class. This class is an opportunity to practice skills with an emphasis on sailing time. A instructor is available to answer questions and give advice. There will be no organized classroom instruction. You will pick four Friday nights during the summer so you can fit sailing in your busy summer. Fridays 6 to 9 p.m. Class Prices: $180 if you are not currently a WSC member (this includes the "Training Membership" fee) and $90 if you are a WSC Member (Regular or Youth)
