Private Lessons
Private lessons are available upon request. Two hours minimum must be taken if no previous sailing experience.  These classes are taught by WSS certified instructors, and provide the one on one attention you just can't get in a class environment.  You may also take these lessons in your own boat if you have one, or in a WSS 15' sailboat.  The focus of these private lessons can be tailored to your individual experience level as well your interests such as beginning racing concepts.

Private Lessons: $45/hour for one person // $75/hour for two people

Family Classes
Family classes are beginning sailing classes that provide the unique opportunity for a family (parents and children 8 years and older) to take a class together on 15' sailboats.  As with the standard beginning sailing classes, this class concentrates on teaching the basics of sailing, while spending as much time as possible on the water.

Beginning sailing classes for women.

Introduction to Racing. This class will teach the different racing courses, flags that are used to mark the course. The start flag signals. rules of the race. And then basic strategy.

How to Be a Great Crew. This class will teach you sail trim, what information to tell your skipper, starts, and an introduction to spinnakers. This class will give you confidence to step on a boat for Wednesday night club racing and know you will help the skipper go faster!

Class Prices:  $180 if you are not currently a WSC member (this includes the "Training Membership" fee) and $90 if you are a WSC Member (Regular or Youth)
