Youth Racing Fleet - for Ages 8 to 17
Registration is now open. The Youth Racing Fleet meets Monday through Friday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm. Two sessions are offered: July 5 - 30 and August 2 - 27. Open to Willamette Sailing Club and Portland Yacht Club members only. For ages 8 - 17. Fee is $195.00 per session.
Kids who have mastered the basic skills of sailing are encouraged to join the WSC Youth Racing Fleet, a great opportunity to practice more advanced concepts of boat handling, sail trim, and racing tactics under the supervision of expert coaches.
Sailing Skills Prerequisite:
All new team members are required to take a beginning sailing class at Willamette Sailing Club prior to the first practice. Visit WSC's Learn to Sail page for fees and schedules.
WSC Membership:
Membership in Willamette Sailing Club is required for participation in the Jr. Racing Program. Visit the Membership page for details.
