Health Recommendations

• Starting March 12th 2022, face masks will no longer be required to be worn either inside or outside at Willamette Sailing Club. However, we recognize that everyone has different comfort levels or health issues so those individuals that wish to continue wearing face masks are encouraged to do so.
• Multnomah County Public Health recommends that anyone who has not yet received a full series of the COVID-19 including the recommended boosters vaccines do so as soon as possible. 
• WSC requires that all members who wish to attend indoor social events be fully vaccinated. This requirement is based on the honor system and physical verification does not need to be shown.

Indoor Rules for the Windward Room and Balcony

• Alcohol (BYOB) can only be consumed on or in the floating clubhouse if opened and the first drink poured by an official WSC server. To be a WSC server you must 1) have a OLCC license and 2) be listed on the club’s insurance.  Please contact the club manager to be registered as an official WSC alcohol server.  We can lose our liquor license if these two requirements are not strictly followed. 
• As before, no dogs and no wet clothing in the Windward Room.
• If a member is planning a party with 16 or more people, please contact the Office Manager to make a reservation.

Outdoor Rules

• Alcohol (BYOB) can be consumed on WSC property, including the boat yard, upper bluff, docks and parking lot. Alcohol consumption in or on the floating Clubhouse must comply with OLCC rules as stated above in “Indoor Rules”.

Indoor Rules for Downstairs, Office and Classroom

• Members should not use the downstairs restrooms when students are present.
• Members should not go in the classrooms when classes are in session.
• Mask and vaccination requirements will follow the recommendations set by PPS and also be determined by the Program Director and Head Sailing Coach.
